RHENIUM OF GUIDO
Stealing of Elena.
Canvas, 253 x 265 cm; from a right wing it is lengthened on 16 cm in later time. It is reserved in 1626-1628 by the Spanish envoy in Rome for gallery of the king Philip IV, finished in 1631. It is acquired by the marquis de la Vriyer for decoration of its palace in Paris; it is confiscated during the Great French revolution from the duke de Pentievr. INV. 539 (S/AR)
